Steven Chong, Chartered Accountant
Steven Chong graduated from the University of Toronto in 1980 with
a Bachelor of Commerce degree.
He is qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1986 and practices
in the Greater Toronto Area. Before establishing his practice in
1995, he articled with the firm D’Angela Sorrenti Collins Barrow.
The areas of specialization includes income tax planning for residents
and non-residents of Canada, income tax planning for the reporting
of foreign assets and income, mediation with Revenue Canada, accounting,
auditing and tax planning for Canadian and international companies
and professional and volunteer work for charitable organizations.
He has presented at business and income tax planning seminars in
Toronto (Merrill Lynch, Equion Group, TD Evergreen) Hong Kong and
Singapore (CIBC). He has also been a guest speaker to the graduating
class for the University of Toronto’s Dental Faculty.
His office has a qualified CMA and also has a CGA as a full time
professional staff. The office is fully computerized utilizing the
most current income tax and accounting software programs.
Together with his partner and a professional staff,
they provide in-depth tax services in the area of corporate reorganizations,
estate planning, international tax issues, income tax, GST/PST tax
audits, etc.
